Thursday night, October 13, was an exciting evening for all as the Museum of History in Downtown Raleigh held a special sneak peak of Birth of a Colony: North Carolina, a documentary created by Horizon Productions for UNC-TV and the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources.

The 300 guests attending the event included UNC-TV Board of Trustees, Betty R. McCain, Robert D. Teer, George H. Fleming, and Secretary Linda Carlisle, Deputy Secretary Jeff Crow, and Tom Howe, Director and General Manager of UNC-TV.

After the program, Horizon's Tim Finkbiner, Producer/Director/Writer for the program and Deputy Secretary Jeff Crow fielded questions from the audience.

Birth of a Colony will air Monday, October 24 at 9:00 pm on UNC-TV.
