The Horizon Helps team joined other Santa helpers at the annual Salvation Army of Wake County Christmas Distribution event on Dec. 20, 2011.
(Seen in picture to left) Taka, Megan, Donna, Brian, Dean, and Mark (pictured below) helped with gift sorting, gift bagging, stocking stuffer organization, bike distribution, and general gift giving activites to help those Wake County families in need this holiday season.
With the Horizon Helps program, each quarter a small Horizon team volunteers at a local agency or organization to help give back to the community. We had a great time meeting other volunteers, the families, and the Salvation Army staff who worked together to create this special event.
