On Location: Pretty in Pink TV spot

After several creative brainstorming sessions with Horizon’s team and Pretty in Pink representatives, several key components were identified for the new :30 broadcast spot:

  • Use black-and-white to make the pink logo the only color in the spot
  • Personalize the story told
  • Convey the mission of Pretty in Pink: help those without health insurance pay for breast cancer treatment

The piece is told from the POV (point of view) of a husband whose wife has breast cancer.  Without insurance, they don’t know how they can get the treatment she needs.  But Pretty in Pink is able to help the couple get treatment for her.

     


Multiple locations – Pretty in Pink offices, a local oncologist’s office, and a kitchen set – were used to create the scenes.  Local actors star in the piece, and all production and post-production work was provided by Horizon.  The new :30 broadcast spot will be airing across the state as part of Pretty in Pink’s outreach efforts.
