INFORMATION OCULUS COLLECTS

When you play Explore, Oculus collects information about your device, including information about your headset, country, age, and gender to provide demographic analytics about the app's users.

Additionally, Oculus collects information about your Oculus User ID and Oculus User Profile which includes your Oculus username and profile photo to enable Oculus Achievements within the experience. 

HOW DO WE USE YOUR HEADSET AND OCULUS INFORMATION?

We look at the information Oculus collects above to reward in game badges for the achievements you unlock via Oculus's systems. 

We analyze and share non-user specific analytics to better understand Explore's reach and use by its audience.
